What does svadhaya mean

Svadhaya is not something new it is a word coming from ancient times it is nothing but studying self .Svavdhya term is used in Vedas ,yoga’s and many other scriptures. In individual terms it is defined in many ways but the ultimate thing what svadhaya is nothing but study related to self or study made by self.

yoga study meant of self-nature, kriya, devotion to the lord, self discipline.

Vedic times, study meant the memorization of the traditional teachings through repeated recitation. Study was highly regarded as a viable means of self-understanding and self-transcendence.

Study of spiritual texts and attending satang, spiritual lectures and gatherings.
svadhyaya is a study that one should look within one's own bodymind and lived experience, pondering your own self-nature.

In fact, svadhyaya is more than mere intellectual learning. ,meditation,by which powerful and positive ideas rush to your mind and at once your mental powers are sharpened and lead u to a happy life .

svadhaya teaches us many things
Self- Identity
Self-Power
Self-Duty
self control
self nature.

Here I am not explaining nor keened in explaining what is svadhya I am more ed on the things which are about self study ,the study of inner self.

At times the question rises in my mind what are we, what are we doing, are they right or the things happening with us are right?

we are never alone in this journey nor we are crowed by fellow beings it is the importance of the vision what we have at times which show whether we are alone or in a crowd
Ex:when a person is happy we feel everybody is with us even though nobody is with us but when we are sad we feel the entire world has left us out that is nothing but our vision ,the inner feeling what we produce at times and this feelings weaken our mind and which will make us get different type of thought that are good or bad is to be decided as we don’t have control on those thoughts. So we are always in a dilemma in what ever we study or do, act or.....
